It has been reported that 26 years old Rishav pant is set to be retained by franchise Delhi Capitals for the upcoming mega auction of Indian premier league.
According to reports, DC co-owner Parth jindal met with Rishav pant in Mumbai to finalize the contract ahead of 1st test against Bangladesh.
The report also claimed that, pant might get better contract now. Currently Pant's Ipl salary is 16 Crore INR. Previously he was retained by Delhi Capitals ahead of the 2022 Ipl Auction by 16 crore INR.
But this amount is expected to go up based on the total player purse allowed to a franchise and the retention fee guidelines set by the BCCI.
This star indian wicket keeper batsman performing well in the ongoing India - Bangladesh test series. He scored a game changing century in the first test and helped india to cross 500 runs on the scoreboard.
Report also says that, Delhi Capitals may retain both Axar patel and Kuldeep yadav with Tristan Stubs and Australian young rising star Jake Fraser Mcgruk. DC management also expected to go with 21 year old Bengal Wicket keeper batsman Avishek porel.
Ipl 2025 Mega Auction will take place either ending of November or starting of December this year. This Ipl Auction could be held in overseas and will be two day affair.
