West Indies Announced Their Strongest Squad For ICC T20 World Cup 2024.

West Indies have named Rovman Powell as the captain for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024. 



The team also revealed their 15-player squad for the tournament, which will take place in the Caribbean and the USA.


Squad: Rovman Powell (c), Alzarri Joseph, Johnson Charles, Roston Chase, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, Shai Hope, Akeal Hossain, Shamar Joseph, Brandon King, Gudakesh Motie, Nicholas Pooran, Andre Russell, Sherfane Rutherford, Romario Shepherd. 


The two-time Champions, who are in Group C with Afghanistan, New Zealand, Papua New Guinea, and Uganda, will begin their campaign on 2 June against PNG in Guyana. 


All teams have the option to modify their squad until 25 May, following which any changes will need to be sanctioned by the ICC's Event Technical Committee.
