The BCCI has announced the schedule of the India's home season for 2023-2024, featuring 16 international matche across three formats: five Tests, three One Day Internationals (ODIs) and eight Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is).
India’s home season 2023-2024 will begin with a 3-match One Day International (ODI) series against Australia scheduled to be played just before the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup.
India will host Australia twice in the home season of 2023-2024, with the three ODI series scheduled as a tune-up for the marquee 50-over tournament.
Following the World Cup final, India will host five T20I matches against Australia, starting on November 23rd in Visakhapatnam and concluding on December 3rd in Hyderabad.
In early January, India will host England in five matches Test series of the ICC WTC cycle 2023-25, with matches scheduled in Hyderabad, Vizag, Rajkot, Ranchi, Dharamshala. The first Test will be played on January 25th.
In between these two series against top-tier opposition, India will host Afghanistan in three T20Is at the beginning of January, ahead of the ICC Men’s T20WC 2024 later this year.
