Five seats in the section where the ball landed were named after Dhoni.  The former Indian captain was invited by the Mumbai cricket authorities to inaugurate the newly arranged seats.  Responding to their call, Dhoni inaugurated his nominated seats on Friday.

Wankhede Stadium already has Poli Umigarh, a gate named after Vijay Makar.  Vijay Merchant  In the name of Sunil Gavaskar and Sachin Tendulkar.  This time MS Dhoni's name was also added to that list.

Mahendra Singh Dhoni's Chennai Super Kings will play against Mumbai Indians at the Wankhede Stadium on Saturday.  Dhoni said he was happy to receive this honour.  Even after 12 years, the night of winning the World Cup has not been forgotten.  Mahi played an innings of 91 runs in a difficult situation especially in the final.  He put Yuvraj in charge of Muralitharan and went to bat himself.
