Will India Play Asia Cup 2023?
The differences of opinion between India and Pakistan over the hosting of the upcoming Asia Cup for the past 6 months are apparently coming to an end. The discussions for a long time between India and Pakistan,are about to end. A decision is being taken in which both the cricket boards of the two countries agree. According to sources, Pakistan will host the Asia Cup this year. Only the Indian cricket team will not play any matches in Pakistan.

Who Will Host Asia Cup 2023?
The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Chosen Pakistan for organizing this Asia cup tournament. But, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made it clear that Team India will not play in Pakistan due to the political issue between the two countries. Recently, Pakistan also threatened not to participate in the upcoming ODI World Cup, which is decided to be held in India; however, opting out of the World Cup would not be feasible for the PCB.
Asia Cup 2023 Overview:
The 16th edition of Asia Cup will be played in 50-over format in the month of September this year In this tournament,India and Pakistan have been kept in the same group together with a qualifier. Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan are part of the other group.
A total of 13 games to be played over the duration of 13 days. The top two teams from each group will qualify to proceed to the Super 4s, where the top two teams will compete in the final, according to the 2022 Asia Cup format.
As far as the news is concerned, finally,the two boards have agreed on this tournament. According to a report, the tournament is expected to be hosted in Pakistan for now. And that is possible because this tournament will be organized in two different venues. And that's why consent has been given. The report also said that India's matches will be hosted in some other country instead of Pakistan.
Second Venue Of Asia Cup 2023 For India's Matches:
However, the final decision regarding the second venue of this tournament has not been taken yet. However, it is expected that the matches of India will be held somewhere in the United Arab Emirates or Sri Lanka. Besides, the names of Oman and England are also heard. In the end, the fate of which country will be torn will depend on the prevailing weather conditions and transportation facilities.
The report also said that the situation was getting complicated with the hosting of the Asia Cup. And to cut it, every member of the ACC has agreed to this. A board meeting was organized by ICC at Dubai last week and the decision has been taken there. However, a final decision is yet to be taken in this regard. A working committee has been constituted to find a solution to the whole issue, who will prepare a travel plan with the consent of each party.
