LLC2022: From September 16, the second edition of Legends League is going to be organized on Indian soil with many former iconic cricketers including Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag.A
About 110 former international level cricketers from 9 countries like Muthiah Muralitharan, Misbah-ul-Haq, Jonty Rhodes, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Lee, Shane Watson, Ross Taylor and Dale Steyn will participate in this league, said commissioner of this league and former Indian cricketer Ravi Shastri.
He also informed that the second season of Legends League Cricket held in India will have franchise-owned teams and the league will be played from 17 September to 8 October 2022 in six major cities of India namely Kolkata, New Delhi, Cuttack, and Jodhpur.
Special Exhibition Match (Special Exhibition Match For 75th Independence);
The opening match of the second season of Legend League Cricket will be on September 16 with an exhibition match between India Maharajas and World Giants. The special match was organized at the historic Eden Gardens ground in Kolkata to commemorate India's 75th Independence Day and to celebrate Prime Minister's Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav. India Maharajas led by former Indian captain and current BCCI president Sourav Ganguly will play against Eoin Morgan led world Giants.

Legend Cricket League Launch:
Legends League Cricket is a global Twenty20 cricket league featuring cricketers who have recently retired from international cricket. The first season of this league was held in January this year at the Oman Cricket Academy Ground. Where three teams namely India, Rest of Asia and Rest of World participated.
Multiple surprises in the second edition:
A total of four teams Bhilwar Kings, Manipal Tigers, India Capitals and Gujrat Giants will compete in the upcoming edition of LLC 2022. A total of 16 matches will be seen including the group stage and knock out stage of this tournament organized in six cities in different parts of India.
Former World Cup-winning Indian cricketers Harbhajan Singh, Gautam Gambhir, Virender Sehwag and Irfan Pathan will be captain of the four teams. While Sehwag and Gambhir will lead Gujarat Giants and India Capitals respectively while Pathan and Bhajji will lead Bilwar Kings and Manipal Tigers respectively.
